You can find information on fares and zones here. Our fares are based on how many zones you travel through, so check the zone table below and then refer to the fare table to see the relevant fare.
When a Bee Card user swipes their card as they enter - tagging on - the system recognises where they are travelling from.
Tagging off closes the loop and charges a passenger for their travel. If you forget to tag off, you will be charged a default fare of two zones.
Tagging on and off also gives us rich data about where people travel helping us improve the network according to people's travel habits.
Here are the fares for goBay bus journeys. If you are paying by cash, the correct fare is appreciated as change may not be available for large denomination notes.
