COVID-19 Protection Framework (traffic lights)

Under the new traffic light system, from Monday 24th January Napier and Hastings will be at Red.

  • You do not need to show a vaccine pass to use goBay public transport, as these services are essential to enable access to food and healthcare
  • There are no physical distancing requirements on public transport, however you must wear a face covering if you are over 12 years of age
  • You must also scan the QR codes displayed on the buses, or register your trip here. This will help with contact tracing if there are any cases in our community
  • Please be kind and considerate to the bus drivers who are operating these essential services
  • If you are unwell, please do not travel on public transport services.
